What's the difference between sharing and collaborating?

Sharing creates a public link anyone can access (view-only or with password). Collaborating means inviting specific people to your organization with accounts — they can edit, comment, and see version history.

Can I revoke a shared link?

Yes. Go to the document's share settings and disable the link. Anyone with the old URL will see an access denied page. You can also generate a new link which invalidates the previous one.

Do shared links work with multi-tab documents?

Yes. When you share a document, recipients see all tabs. They can navigate between tabs just like you can. The only difference is they can't edit (unless you've granted edit permissions).

Can I see who viewed my shared document?

Currently, we don't track individual viewers for public links (privacy reasons). For organization members with accounts, you can see who accessed the document and when in the activity log.

Is there a limit on how many people can view a shared link?

No limit. Shared documents are served from our CDN for fast, reliable access. Whether 10 or 10,000 people view your document, performance stays consistent.

Can I embed a shared document on my website?

Not directly yet. For now, link to the shared document. In the meantime, export to PDF or HTML for embedding static content.
