Refund Policy

WURDX uses Paddle as our Merchant of Record for online payments. Paddle handles billing, tax, and refunds for purchases made through the Paddle checkout. This policy should be read together with Paddle's Buyer Terms.
1. Free Tier and Evaluation
WURDX offers a Free tier that lets you create up to 10 documents at no cost. We strongly recommend using the Free tier to explore our core features before starting a paid subscription.
2. 14-Day Cancellation Window
In line with Paddle's Buyer Terms and applicable consumer protection laws, if you are a consumer you may cancel your purchase and request a full refund within 14 days of the transaction date for:
- Your initial purchase of a WURDX Pro or Business subscription
- Eligible one-time purchases made through the Paddle checkout
To exercise this right, contact us at support@wurdx.com within 14 days of purchase.
3. Renewals and Cancellations After 14 Days
After the 14-day period has passed, payments are generally non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account's billing settings.
- You will keep access until the end of your current billing period
- No prorated or partial refunds are issued for unused time
- At the end of the billing period, your account reverts to the Free tier
4. Billing Errors and Duplicate Charges
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact us as soon as possible:
- Email support@wurdx.com with your account email and Paddle order number
- You can also contact Paddle directly using the link in your receipt
- Verified duplicate or erroneous charges will be refunded in full
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Outside the 14-day window and except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. This includes:
- Failure to cancel before a renewal date
- Low or no usage of the service during a billing period
- Account termination due to violation of our Terms of Service
6. How Refunds Are Processed
When a refund is approved, it is processed by Paddle and returned to the original payment method. Timing varies depending on your bank or payment provider, typically 5–10 business days.
